About Friendship House
Friendship House, a relief ministry sponsored by First Baptist Church of Garland, in conjunction with local churches and community organizations, was organized in 1977 to help meet the physical needs of those who were out of work, physically disabled, or low income for a variety of reasons and circumstances. We serve the Garland, Rowlett, and Sachse communities.
VOLUNTEERS NEEDED:
The Friendship House needs volunteers to help serve our clients. We need interviewers on Monday and Thursday. This position allows one-on-one time with clients while entering information into the computer. We also need help in our clothing area on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays. The hours are flexible. The duties include assisting our clients with shopping for clothes, and restocking the clothing area.
If you would like to join this exciting ministry and have 2-3 hours a week to share the love of Christ to our communities, please complete our volunteer form.
