As Christian men, we were never intended to go it alone. We were designed by our Creator to connect with other Christian men – to encourage, support, and inspire each other in the adventures we live, through the battles we fight, and for the others we serve.
 
“And if one can overpower him who is alone, two can resist him. A cord of three strands cannot be broken.” –Ecclesiastes 4:12

With these ideas in mind, the FBC Garland Men’s Ministry will empower and equip men through…
  • Missions and outreach activities
  • Ministries to meet the physical needs of others
  • Fellowship opportunities
  • Support programs for families and youth
  • Teaching and education, focused on men’s needs

Saturday, September 18      Dove Hunt      Near Sulphur Springs, TX

Cost: $20, includes water, soft drinks and lunch 

Registration required (for planning purposes). Click here to register, pay the event fee, and download the release form and map.

Adults and youth (age 10 and over) are welcome to participate.

Bring the following: Hunting/Fishing License, shotgun and shells, or fishing pole and tackle,      folding chair or stool, sunscreen, bug spray, Hunter Liability Hold Harmless Form.

    Saturday, October 16    Start Time: 8:00 am    
    Location: Originate at the parking lot next to the Friendship House (under the trees)
    At this time, projects will be in our community, assisting our neighbors. We will have biscuits and coffee ready at 8 am, followed by a focused time of prayer, and then the workday teams will leave by 9:00 am to complete their workday projects.

  • Outdoor Men's Fellowship Activities
    The Men's Outdoor Fellowship activities give men the opportunity to enjoy the great outdoors and share fellowship with other men from our church community of believers and guests.

    Saturday, August 28       Clay Shoot      Rhome, TX
    This is a registered event - click here to register and pay the event fee.
    Meet in the MAC parking lot at 7:30 a.m., depart at 8:00 a.m. sharp. Maps will be distributed at that time.

    Cost: $20, includes lunch (sandwiches, chips, water, and soft drink) and one case of sporting clays 

    Adults and youth (age 10 and over) are welcome to participate.

    Bring the following: eye protection, hearing protection, shot gun, shotgun shells, folding chair or stool, sunscreen, and bug spray.
    Due to the anticipated heat, we will be leaving earlier and will finish shooting before lunch. There will be no afternoon activities this year.

  • Men's Fish Fry  (our first in a LONG time)
    Friday, November 5    7:00-9:00 pm   FBCG MAC Fellowship Hall     $7 per person

    A great time of fun, food, and fellowship for both FBCG men and their guests.
