About Jennifer:

Jennifer Roberts is the ceramic artist behind Black Rock Pottery, where she creates one-of-a-kind pieces rooted in intuition, experience, and a deep connection to clay. Her journey began in second grade with her first handmade piece and was solidified years later in a college ceramics class, where she discovered what she describes as her “soul song.”

More than forty years later, Jennifer continues to explore and evolve her craft. Her work includes functional pottery and artistic series, such as her horse and donkey collection inspired by the US Dressage Finals in Lexington, Kentucky, along with ongoing experimentation in new forms and glazing techniques.

Jennifer believes clay is a universal language—present across all cultures and woven into both everyday life and artistic expression. In a world increasingly filled with mass-produced goods, her work reflects a desire to reconnect people with something personal, handmade, and meaningful. Her goal is simple: to help others experience the quiet joy of using a piece of pottery that feels uniquely their own. For more on Jennifer, visit https://www.blackrockpottery.com/about
