For my house will be called a house of prayer for all nations.  -Isaiah 56:7

The Intercessory Prayer Ministry provides a vital prayer support system for our church family, our staff/leadership, people in our city, state, and nation, as well as people throughout the world. The Prayer Room is staffed by volunteer prayer warriors.

First Monday Pray Days

Next Pray Day: Monday, March 5

Have you heard of the First Monday Trade Days in Canton. If you have, then you have been there for some great shopping. Well, FBCG has launchedsomething better than Canton … it’s called “First Monday Pray Days.”

On the first Monday of each month, Pastor Greg will lead a prayer service in the Worship Center at 6:30 p.m. Each month, there will be an opportunity to write out a prayer request and submit it for a team to pray over it. You will also have an opportunity to pray personally with a minister, one-on-one, before the service.

During the service each month, we will highlight various aspects for which we will petition God for that month. One month, we will pray for those going through cancer treatments … another month we will pray for those needing a job … another month we will pray for those enduring difficult family situations … another month we will pray for upcoming ministry opportunities at FBCG, etc.

We have always prayed that God would work in such powerful ways at FBCG that the results cannot be explained any other way except, “God did it!” This service will be our petitioning God to move and work powerfully in some specific areas.

FBCG is known in the community and state in certain areas.  We are known to be strong in mission work. We are known for getting outside of the walls and ministering. We are known for benevolence to the community through Friendship House.  Jesus said that His house shall be known for being a house of prayer.

During March and April, we will meet in the McDonald Activity Center Fellowship Hall.
