Joyful Sound Handbells
Joyful Sound is the Adult Handbell Choir at FBC Garland. They ring several times a year in our services and programs. The group enjoys ringing a wide range of music styles with our five octave White Chapel Handbells.
The Handbell Choir is made up of 17 ringers who rehearse Sunday afternoons (during the school year) from 5:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. in the Handbell Room. The Handbell Room is located in the Music Suite on the second floor of the Suter Education Building. Rehearsals for the 2021-2022 year begin on Sunday, September 12. Joyful Sound occasionally has openings for new ringers. You need to be able to read music well, and prior handbell experience is a plus.
