Equipping Center/Adult Discipleship Classes
At FBC, we have a strong commitment to both evangelism and discipleship - reaching people with the saving message of Christ and helping them grow in their relationship with Him.
In addition to adult Sunday School, we offer relevant, topical studies in The Equipping Center. During the Fall and Winter/Spring semesters, studies are offered on Sunday evenings. These small group studies usually involve a study guide, longer class times, and more in-depth study of particular topics. We feel like they provide participants with Biblical “handles” on life issues they face everyday. Among the topics recently covered have been Christian parenting, marriage enrichment, Christian financial management, Bible study methods, and other key principles of meaningful Christian life.
Our Equipping Center studies, which supplement our Sunday School ministry, meet at the church. The Equipping Center classes are primarily on Sunday evenings, from 5 pm - 7 pm. But some meet at other times during the week. They are meant to supplement the Bible study offered through Sunday School, not replace it. Childcare is provided at the church during these small group times.
